Ahhh the ways of the Ninja ...

If you don't know the answer, come back to it after you finish the rest of the test and make an educated guess. Other parts of the test may give you clues to what the answer may be.

next,

Dr. Dre Says ...

Take notes on all of this please - it's all testable.

Dre says it's time to get ready to write.

Using the circle sheets, put your hero in the middle.

Your hero is your topic.  Fill the little circles with reasons your hero is so ... super!

Ex:  Superman goes in middle.  In little circles put strength, courage, X ray vision, can fly, saves the citizens ... etc.

Save these sheets!  You need them for Friday's writing workshop.

Next,

   Let's review subjects and predicates.

Remember Dre says a sentence gets funky when it has a subject and a predicate.

Just the first and last part of a sentence!

Next,

Here is a short video about 9/11.  Please be serious, we lost a few thousand moms, dads, firemen, cops ... it was a horrible day.
